Bio:

I just want a place that I can come to and talk (type) about my struggles with Bipolar disorder. I was in therapy from 1997 to 2003. I miss it terribly. I wish that I could go back everyday. I think it is water under the bridge though with my old therapist and it would be to hard to start up again. I have a great doctor and case manager and try to do everything in my power to stay healthy. Sometimes I forget to take my meds, sometimes I'm really great at remembering to take them. I know it is hard for my loved ones to see me be healthy and then to see me lose myself to this disorder from time to time.

I am a 38 year old woman who was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder back in 1996 when I was 25. I am a mom to a 15 yr old... the person you love with the illness know that you care enough to take the time to understand it.
That's all I want....
