I am a nurse and work full time. I am married and have three grown children. I am interested in music and am involved in my church. I like to go to the gym with my daughter and I've recently enjoyed the yoga classes. I keep busy with taking care of my home and yard. I need support, because I believe my husband has bipolar disorder and I am in the process of trying to convince him that there is a problem.

We both created something called the Love Reportcard as a way to improve both communication and maybe more importantly expectations. It has helped our relationship and hopefully prepared our children for their next step in life.

I am 47 years and growing. I have been an explorer all my life into the metaphysical. I love to write, teach and help others become more aware especially in the area of how our spirit manifests into the physical realm and how we can allow ourselves to accept and nurture development in ourselves, our spirits and others. I have then also explored systems of belief and will onward. Currently I enjoy writing a blog site to explore the nature of humanness and point others to a positive approach to living in this life.

  • Annie from Montana
I just want a place that I can come to and talk (type) about my struggles with Bipolar disorder. I was in therapy from 1997 to 2003. I miss it terribly. I wish that I could go back everyday. I think it is water under the bridge though with my old therapist and it would be to hard to start up again. I have a great doctor and case manager and try to do everything in my power to stay healthy. Sometimes I forget to take my meds, sometimes I'm really great at remembering to take them. I know it is hard for my loved ones to see me be healthy and then to see me lose myself to this disorder from time to time.

Help, every mood is different with my husband....bipolar disorder runs in his family yet he swears he does not have it....he was tested when he was 14, but he is now 45. I don't know who I am living with half of the time. He is mostly on the manic side - loves cocaine, and blames me for everything imaginable in his life that has gone wrong. We have been struggling with his cocaine addiction for 3 years. He has never been treated but has 3 siblings diagnosed with bipolar disorder and has a brother who committed suicide 20 years ago. I just need to know how to be in this relationship. At the moment he is asking for a divorce (again - this is about the 5th time in 3 years, after he has come down from a cocaine binge). I don't know whether to stay or walk away. Walking away is so painful, but he doesn't seem affected by it at all. Please help, please.....
